Todd Jatras has been a writer and editor since 1992, when he began working as an associate editor at the San Francisco Review of Books.

Subsequent staff positions and assignments took him to Hotwired (the website of WIRED magazine, 1995), Sidewalk (Microsoft's arts and culture website, 1997), Martha Stewart and Forbes.com (1998), where he was a senior editor and assistant managing editor.

Having worked extensively in print and online, he has edited and reported on a diverse set of subjects ranging from literature, music and travel to business, technology and global affairs.

He currently lives in New York, focuses on travel and culture. and has recently contributed to National Geographic Adventure, New York Daily News, Wired and Forbes.
